چکیده

In this paper, let P l n;≤s;k denote a set of k-flaw preference sets (a1, . . . , an) with n parking spaces satisfying that 1 ≤ ai ≤ s for any i and a1 = l and p l n;≤s;k = |P l n;≤s;k|. We use a combinatorial approach to the enumeration of k-flaw preference sets by their leading terms. The approach relies on bijections between the k-flaw preference sets and labeled rooted forests. Some bijective results between certain sets of k-flaw preference sets of distinct leading terms are also given. We derive some formulas and recurrence relations for the sequences pln;≤s;k and give the generating functions for these sequences. Some Enumerations for Parking Functions

In this paper, let Pn,n+k;≤n+k (resp. Pn;≤s) denote the set of parking functions α = (a1, · · · , an) of length n with n+k (respe. n)parking spaces satisfying 1 ≤ ai ≤ n+k (resp. 1 ≤ ai ≤ s) for all i. Let pn,n+k;≤n+k = |Pn,n+k;≤n+k| and pn;≤s = |Pn;≤s|. Let P l n;≤s denote the set of parking functions α = (a1, · · · , an) ∈ Pn;≤s such that a1 = l and pn;≤s = |P l n;≤s|. We derive some formulas...

A Multi-Criteria Analysis Model under an Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Environment with an Application to Production Project Decision Problems

Using Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) to solve complicated decisions often includes uncertainty, which could be tackled by utilizing the fuzzy sets theory. Type-2 fuzzy sets consider more uncertainty than type-1 fuzzy sets. These fuzzy sets provide more degrees of freedom to illustrate the uncertainty and fuzziness in real-world production projects. In this paper, a new multi-criteria ana...

Least-Cost Flaw Repair: A Plan Refinement Strategy for Partial-Order Planning

We describe the least-cost flaw repair (LCFR) strategy for performing flaw selection during partial-order causal link (POCL) planning. LCFR can be seen as a generalization of Peot and Smith’s “Delay Unforced Threats” (DUnf) strategy (Peot & Smith 1993); where DUnf treats threats differently from open conditions, LCFR has a uniform mechanism for handling all flaws. We provide experimental result...

Choice-Induced Preference Change in the Free-Choice Paradigm: A Critical Methodological Review

Choices not only reflect our preference, but they also affect our behavior. The phenomenon of choice-induced preference change has been of interest to cognitive dissonance researchers in social psychology, and more recently, it has attracted the attention of researchers in economics and neuroscience. Preference modulation after the mere act of making a choice has been repeatedly demonstrated ov...

Solving Critical Path Problem in Project Network by a New Enhanced Multi-objective Optimization of Simple Ratio Analysis Approach with Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Sets

Decision making is an important issue in business and project management that assists finding the optimal alternative from a number of feasible alternatives. Decision making requires adequate consideration of uncertainty in projects. In this paper, in order to address uncertainty of project environments, interval type-2 fuzzy sets (IT2FSs) are used. In other words, the rating of each alternativ...
